Instant Lemon Sevai recipe acts as a wholesome
meal. Tangy lemon flavor enriches it’s taste.
Ingredients:
- 200gms Sevai
- 1 Medium Size Lemon
- 2 Green chillies
- Few Curry leaves
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp of mustard seeds
- 1 tsp of channa daal
- 1 tbsp Roasted Peanuts
- A pinch of Turmeric powder
- Ghee: 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
1. Take a kadai and roast sevai
in 1tsp of ghee for 5 mins. Once roasted, add boiling water to the sevai and
cover it with lid for 5 mins.
2. Do not overcook the sevai,
else it will become sticky. Once the sevai is cooked, take a strainer and empty
the sevai from the kadai. Strainer will help in removing the excess water.
3. Take a nonstick pan add oil, mustard seeds and chana dal. Roast till golden brown.
4. Then, add chopped green chillies, curry leaves, turmeric powder, asafoetida and peanuts.
5. Switch off the flame; mix the boiled sevai to the above tempered masala.

6. Atlast add lime juice and salt.
