Lapsi a delicious broken wheat pudding loaded with ghee and dry-fruits.
Ingredients::
1. Broken Wheat - 1 cup
2. Water - 21/4 cup
3. Jaggery - 1/2 cup
4. Ghee - 1 tbsp
Method::
1. Take a nonstick pan. Add ghee and broken wheat cook till golden brown.
2. Boil 21/4 cups of water. When ghee starts coming out of broken wheat, add the boiled water to this mixture.
3. Place the mixture in pressure cooker and take 4 whistles.
4. Once it is cooked, remove from cooker and add jaggery to it.
5. Stir the mixture in pan for 5 mins till jaggery is mixed well.
6. Add dry fruits or cardamon if you wish.
